Agnes Schroeder Obituary

Agnes C. Schroeder
August 26, 1938 - May 23, 2018

Agnes Caroline Schroeder, 79, of Deshler, Ohio passed away on Wednesday night, May 23, 2018 with her family by her side.
She was born on August 26, 1938 in Putnam County, Ohio to the late Aloysius and Eleonora (Hohenbrink) Inkrott.  On April 19, 1958 she married Norbert Schroeder at Holy Family Catholic Church, New Cleveland, Ohio and they recently celebrated their 60th Anniversary.
Agnes was a 1956 graduate of the Miller City/New Cleveland High School.  She previously worked for the former Steffen Ford and Metal Forge of Deshler and Crush Proof Tubing, McComb; before she studied and became a Certified Nurses Aid.  She then devoted over 18 years caring for residents at the former Oak Grove Nursing Home, Deshler and Blakely Care Center, North Baltimore.
She was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Deshler where she was very actively involved in the church, volunteering and serving on countless committees.  She was a member of the CLC for over 60 years.  She was an accomplished seamstress and offered her services to anyone who needed them.  She was a homemaker and farm wife and a committed caretaker of her home, keeping her flower gardens and lawn in beautiful display.  She was always in the mood for a good game of cards, dominoes or any board game with family or friends.
Above all, Agnes loved her family.  She shared a life with Norbert that allowed for all the blessings a family can offer.  Her children and especially her grandchildren were her greatest treasures and she will forever be adored by them.
She is survived by her husband, Norbert; daughters, Sandra "Sandy" (Jeff) Endicott, Norwalk, Iowa; Geralyn "Lyn" (Paul) Duemmel, Grove City, Ohio; twin sons, Kerry Schroeder; Terry Schroeder, both of Deshler; granddaughter, Eleonora (Dan) Coyne; twin granddaughters, Allison and Katelyn Duemmel; brothers, Paul (Carole) Inkrott, Sarasota, Florida; Greg Inkrott, Fort Jennings, Ohio and sister-in-law, Pat Inkrott, Leipsic, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Penelope Coyne; brother, Ambrose Inkrott and three sisters, Evelyn Halbeisen; Bernadine Nienberg and Julie Spring.
A Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Deshler with Fr. Art Niewiadomski officiating.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. on Monday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with a scripture service at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
