   Daphne Lynn Gottschalk, 54, resident of the Sunshine Home, Maumee, Ohio for the past 12 years, passed away Monday morning, June 24, 2019.
   Daphne was born September 16, 1964 in Napoleon, Ohio to Robert and Kathi (Thomas) Gottschalk.  She was loved and cherished as the first born and was soon followed by 3 younger sisters.
   She is survived by her mother, Kathi Gottschalk, Deshler, Ohio; sisters, Kathie (Gary) Diem, Kingman, Arizona; Brenda Gottschalk (Roger South), North Baltimore, Ohio; Kimberly (Tony) Phillips, Deshler, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Tiffany (Phillip) Baker; Whitney Diem; Tessa Diem; Garrett Diem and Bailey McCance.
   She was preceded in death by her father, Robert.
   Daphne graduated from the former Hope School of Henry County and formerly worked at Brookhill Center, Ottawa; Quadco Center, Stryker, Ohio and currently worked in the workshop at the Sunshine Community, Maumee, Ohio.  
   She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Deshler.  She had a big heart and loved all people, especially boys and kids.  She would often enjoy playing cards, checkers or building puzzles.  She had a great relationship with a lot of her caregivers, in particular, Lenitra, who always found extra time for Daphne.
   Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler, with Pastor Meg Boger officiating.
   Memorials are suggested to the family's wishes.
