Clark F. Neal

Clark Franklin Neal, 69, of Deshler, Ohio, born July 19th, 1951 in Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on March 19th, 2021 of prolonged health issues.
Clark graduated from Fostoria High School, Class of 1969, where he was known for his athleticism and charismatic personality. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and member of the Deshler American Legion Post 316. Clark found his passion on the open road where he felt free and began a lifelong career in the trucking industry. Embracing his adventurous spirit as a long-haul trucker and retiring as a fleet manager of Kitchen Family Trucking- PGT, Leipsic, OH in 2020. We feel he is soaring the open roads now. In his spare time, Clark enjoyed bowling, (accomplishing 3 championship rings with the USBC Bowling Association), golfing, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and spending time with loved ones.
Preceded in death by his father, Newman Kerrol Neal, Clark is survived by his loving mother, Marilyn Louise (Collins) Neal; his brothers: Larry (Ann Heathcote) Neal, and Duane (Doris) Neal; the love of his life-his wife, Robbin (Stearns) Neal; his beloved children: Corie (Ray Collins) Neal, Carie (Brian) Wiese, Christi (Michael) Rathburn, Samantha (Joshua Kosick) Neal, and Amber Brown; and his much cherished grandchildren: Ciarra, David, Hailee, Starr, Landon, Layla, Kaliope, Ella, Kaspian, Kinzie, Josie, and Liam; with his first great-grandchild on the way.
Clark was our True North and could always get his loved ones home, our family's compass. He was widely known for his love and protection of his family. He will be deeply missed and held in the highest regard by all the lives he has touched. His legacy and love will continue to live on through his family and friends, and all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Pastor Chris Walter officiating. The services will be livestreamed at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYoMQrf6cM-ARvrnzAZRV0g/live. A memorial gathering will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Anyone attending services will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
