Cloyce R. Stott
January 3, 1932 - November 6, 2020
Cloyce Robert Stott, 88, of Custar, Ohio passed away Friday night, November 6, 2020 at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, Ohio.
He was born on January 3,1932 in Hoytville, Ohio to the late William and Etta "Ettie" (Hartman) Stott. Cloyce served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifetime farmer and enjoyed all the benefits of a family farm. He spent years collecting and restoring old antique tractors, particularly International Harvesters. He was also a retired bus driver, having driven for Patrick Henry, Otsego and McComb Schools.
He was very active through the years as a member of the Northwest Ohio Tractor Pullers Association, spending many years at the National Pulls in Bowling Green. He was a member of International Harvesters Collectors Chapter 6 and the Deshler American Legion Post #316.
On April 1, 1978 he married Barbara (Wenig) and she preceded him in death on September 29, 2015. He is survived by three sons, Tim Stott; Alan (Sharon) Stott; Mark (Pam) Stott; three step-daughters, Tonnie Murphy; Storm Webb; Kris Sautter, 15 grandchildren, Tracy (Jerry) Pyles; Brad Stott; Holly (Trey) Proctor; LaRae Bryant; Stacy (Ron) Serrato; Tenille (Jamie) Holland; Levi (Joanna) Murphy; Sarah Maiani; Layne (Alexandria) Murphy; Kyle (Brittney) Murphy; Hannah (Adam) Gardner; Hank Webb; Ross Webb; Jacob (Katie) Sautter; Tim (Jessica) Sautter; 22 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Stott; sister, Mary Hartman and step sons-in-law, Tim Sautter and Doug Webb.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Beaver Creek Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Ohio with Rev. Chris Walter officiating. Graveside Military Honors will be accorded by the U.S. Army and Deshler American Legion Post #316. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 12 noon prior to the services on Tuesday at the Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler. Anyone attending services will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing guidelines.
