Gary R. LeVeck
October 9, 1941 - January 31, 2024

   Gary Rex LeVeck, 82 of North Baltimore, Ohio passed away on Wednesday evening, January 31, 2024, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green, Ohio.
   He was born October 9, 1941, in Morenci, Michigan to the late Durwood and Thelma (Baldwin) LeVeck.  He was raised in a large family of 14 children.  As a young man he was drafted and served in the U.S. Navy.
   On October 6, 2006, he married Sharon "Sherry" (Lamb) LeVeck and she survives.
   He worked for over 20 years for John Newlove Real Estate, Bowling Green as the maintenance supervisor.  He was always hardworking and his skills allowed him to take on any task needed.  Some of those skills was his overall strength, his craft as a carpenter and his ability to "BS" and get things done, whether it was right or not.
   In his spare time, Gary loved to fish and spent many years raising coon dogs and coon hunting.  He enjoyed old fashion cars, antiques and rare collectibles.  This lead to him taking in many car shows, flea markets and auctions.  While at home, he enjoyed his bird feeders and his family.  He probably preferred the company of the younger kids, but he was truly a loving husband, father and grandfather.
   He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry; daughter, Tonya (Kevin) Amstutz; step daughter, Connie (Rob) Nelson; children he helped raise, Angela Eborg; Roger Stapleton; grandchildren, Michael Amstutz; Matthew Amstutz; Bennett LeVeck; Mitchell LeVeck; Michael James; Joey James; Chris James; Gary James; Brandy James; Samantha Eborg; Dillon Eborg; Ben Stapleton; Jake Stapleton; Sophie Stapleton; Erin Stapleton; Rose Stapleton; brother, Donald LeVeck; sisters, Sandra LeVeck; Patricia McCance; Pamela LeVeck; Jackie Bretsch; Phyllis Warncke.
   He was also preceded in death by a son, Jody LeVeck; brother, Doyle LeVeck; sisters, Roberta Robinson; Kathy Verity; Josephine Redlowski; Gwyn LeVeck; Brenda Roberts and Toni Wolfe.
   A celebration of Life Gathering for Gary will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the Portage Town Hall, 110 West Walnut Street, Portage, Ohio from 12 Noon - 4:00 p.m.
