Luella M. Browneller
December 16, 1933 – February 7, 2020
Luella Mae Browneller, 86, of Deshler, Ohio passed away on Friday morning, February 7, 2020 at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green, Ohio.
She was born on December 16, 1933 in Arlington, Ohio to the late Harold and Dolores (Feller) Bibler. On November 24, 1954 she married Larry Browneller and they have shared over 65 years of marriage.
Luella was a 1951 graduate of Arlington High School. Over the years she worked at the former Kreskies Five and Dime in Findlay; Uhlman’s Department Store, Findlay; Egry Register Company, Leipsic; Budde’s Grocery, Deshler and then finally retired in 1996 from Metal Forge of Deshler.
Along with her husband, she enjoyed years of traveling all over the country. When she wasn’t reading her bible, she would read about places to go or events happening. This would lead them to packing stuff up and heading out in their motorhome for their next adventure. Along the way, she loved seeing old friends and meeting new people. When at home or on the road, she always kept a loving eye on her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; daughter, Cathy (Michael) Hopkins; son, Mike “Creeper” Browneller; 9 grandchildren, Brian (Sheila) Sizemore; Ryan (Tasha) Sizemore; Daniel (Brianna) Sizemore; Jeff Hopkins; Andrew Hopkins; Kelli Hopkins; Katie Hopkins; Johnny Browneller; Tommy Browneller; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Larry Bibler and sister, Susie Crates.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Delbert, Norman and Gerald Bibler.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler with Pastor Richard Betts officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to Deshler Fireman’s Association; Hamler Fire Department or Henry County South Joint Ambulance District.
