Maria Antonia Garcia, 78, of Deshler, Ohio passed away Wednesday evening, November 11, 2020 at her daughter’s residence in Ypsilanti, Michigan.
She was born October 21, 1942 in Eagle Pass, Texas to the late Thomas and Victoria (Ybarra) Flores.  On September 25, 1960 she married Jesus S. Garcia and he preceded her in death on November 13, 2008.
Antonia was a hard working woman and she retired in 1994 from the Consolidated Biscuit, McComb, Ohio.  She previously worked at Tem-Cole Radish, McClure.
In her community she was known for cooking, especially her famous tamales that she offered for to friends and neighbors.  In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, traveling, and fishing.  Her house included beautiful gardens and a great deal of her pride was in her rose bushes.  Her family will forever remember her faithfulness, her generosity, her love for her grandchildren, her beautiful, friendly smile and her personal blessings upon them whenever they would leave a visit.

She was also preceded in death by a son, David Garcia and a brother, Alfredo Flores.
