Mary Lee Hill
January 15, 1949 – January 26, 2024

 
   Mary Lee Hill, 75, of Wayne, Ohio, passed away peacefully Friday evening, January 26, 2024 in her residence.
   She was born January 15, 1949 in Napoleon, Ohio to the late Donald and Mary Jeanette (Howe) Eberle.
   On July 20, 1968 she married Bernard “Hunky” Hill and they shared over 42 years together.  Hunky preceded her in death on February 14, 2011.
   She worked for over 25 years at the Wayne Public Library, retiring in 2012.  She also served on the Wayne Public Library Board.  She was a member of the Wayne Church of Christ and Bradner American Legion Post #338 Auxiliary.
   Over the years, Hunky and Mary Lee enjoyed many travels and adventures.  The best ones were the ones closest to home and those with family and friends.  They enjoyed camping and their private cabin near Napoleon, Ohio.  Card games and coffee were their favorite things to pass time.  She leaves a beautiful legacy of kindness towards others and unconditional love for her family.
   She is survived by her children; Synthia (Ed) Mahler; Vonna (Joe) Bridges; Charline (David) Feltner; Jenny Hill; Debra Hill; stepson, Daniel Hill; stepdaughter, Lynda Hill; grandchildren, Renee (Andy) Gross; Scott (Kayla) Mahler; Traci (Tyler) Householder; Adam (Ashley) Bridges; Tyler Crispen; Justine (Gage) Hill; Kenadie Hill; great grandchildren, Julia; Zack; Noah; Madi; Ali; Addison; Ashton; Theo; Thad; Eri; brothers, Donald (Joyce) Eberle; Charles (Estelle) Eberle; Thomas (Debbie) Eberle; and sister, Sheryl (Jim) Dobbeleare.
   She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Don Crispen and grandson, Jeremiah Bridges.
   Mary Lee’s wishes were to be laid to rest next to her husband, Bernard at the Cole Cemetery in Florida, Ohio.  There will be no public services.
   The family suggests for those wishing to remember Mary Lee to consider memorials to the Wayne Public Library.
