   Shirley Belle Wright, 97, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on Monday morning, April 8, 2024 in her home with her children by her side.
   She was born on July 19, 1926 in Hershey, Pennsylvania to the late Raymond and Bernice (Carr) Rankin.  Shirley's family moved west to Wood County, Ohio and she was a 1943 graduate of Bradner High School.  Later that summer, on July 16, 1943 she married her high school sweetheart, Robert Wright in Gulfport, Mississippi while he was serving our country in the U.S. Army Air Force.  Together they shared over 62 years together before he preceded her in death on February 26, 2006.
   Shirley worked at the former IMCO Poultry and Dekalb Hybrids of Deshler.  She also was an aide and gave in-home healthcare and patient care with Home Health Care of Findlay, Ohio.  Above all, she was a faithful and devoted woman who loved being a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.
   She was a member of Harvest Fellowship Church and His Light Ministries and a former volunteer with the Deshler EMS.
   She is survived by 3 children, Thomas (Jan) Wright; Sherry (Robert) Smith; Cathie Tussing; daughter-in-law, Linda Wright; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
   She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Wright; grandson, Matthew Schwiebert; son-in-law, Joe Tussing; brother, Raymond Rankin; sister, Arlene Chapman and infant sister, Bonnie Rankin.
   Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Harvest Fellowship Church, Hamler, Ohio with Pastor James Erven and Pastor Bradley Wright officiating.  A luncheon will immediately follow and graveside services will be take place at 2:30 p.m. at Wood County Memorial Gardens, Bowling Green, Ohio.
   Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m., Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler, Ohio and from 10:30-11:30 a.m., Monday at the church.
   The family suggests memorials to Harvest Fellowship Church, His Light Ministries or the donor's choice.
